We would be honoured to have you with us as we celebrate our Anand Karaj at Brent Sikh Centre. Please arrive with a little time to settle in, greet family and prepare for the ceremony.
We’re so happy to be celebrating with loved ones from all faiths and backgrounds. As the gurdwara is a place of worship, a few simple traditions help everyone feel comfortable and respectful during the ceremony.
Please dress modestly and comfortably for a religious ceremony.
All guests are asked to cover their heads inside the gurdwara. Head coverings will be available.
Shoes must be removed before entering the prayer hall.
Please keep phones on silent and avoid photography during prayers.
Guests will be seated on the floor in the Darbar Hall as a reflection of equality and humility. If you would like to understand more about the ceremony before the day, our guide explains the main moments and traditions.
Your love, presence and blessings mean the world to us. We’re looking forward to celebrating this special day together and making beautiful memories with everyone we love.
